Scale Operator

Headquartered in Spokane, WA.  Ameristar Meats is seeking a new team member to join our Scale Operation department!

Ameristar Meats is a leading provider of fine meat products.  We offer customers innovative programs for emerging dining trends.  Ameristar Meats produces quality brands like Cattle Company Angus, Mist Isle Farms, Blue Mesa Natural Angus & Blackstone 1890.

Great working hours!!.... Monday - Friday with every weekend off!

Our company is a drug free workplace. As such, we conduct hair follicle drug testing. 

• Weighing and labeling cartons of boxed and processed meats
• Stacking product on pallets & or metal racks
• Transporting of product to pallets to freezer/warehouse
• Lifting 10 lbs. ranging to 60 lb. boxes
• Bending to process the packaging of product

• Observe all company policies and standards
• Works in a manner that ensures your own safety and the safety of others
• Report to work daily on time as scheduled
• Basic computer skills necessary
• Ability to pass a background investigation and hair follicle drug test

Physical Expectations 

• Lifting 10 lb. ranging to 60 lb. boxes
• Bending to process the packaging of product
• Loading and unloading of product each day
